Last tile is not counted.
The idea of the homepage is good but there are a lot of prolems more. The system is discarding (other) tiles without command. Sometimes it stops to work.
We appreciate your comments. The problems addressed above have been fixed.
We will be working on fixing the extra points for a melded hand and should have an update this week.
If anyone sees any more problems with the current Chinese official or Hong Kong rules feel free to contact Player Services or email us by email: http://mahjongtime.com/mahjong-contact.aspx
Scoring is not always correct in case of:
- (pure) Shifted pungs (not counted)
- concealed pungs (3 conc. are not counted (noticed by experience)
Furthermore the counting of points of other players is not clear.
I thought that points of mj are substracted from the other players and doubled for the player that threw the mj tile.
For a selfdrawn mj everybody "pays" double

I think comment has been lost so i replace my comments:
- concealed pungs are not counted
- 7 pairs was not rated 24 points
- 3 (pure) shifted pungs not counted
Furthermore new (?) pointsystem for the other players is not clear. I thought that the mj points are subtracted once from each player except for a player who throws the mj giving tile who pays twice. I see some differences please explain the new rules.
For a selfdrawn mj it seems to work OK. (all other players pay twice.

I don't like the new way of calculating points. It focusses too much on litle hands since only 1 player pays for the full mh points the others only 8. Taking extra risk for a nice hand is not encouraged.

We appreciate your comments. There was a problem with calculation of the promoted kong and the problem if fixed, otherwise there should not be any miscalculations, if you think that a miscalculation of points happened then please click on “report a problem” during the game this way we will get all the game data that we need to investigate the problem.
The scoring is based on Chinese Official International rules and it is endorsed by the Sports Commission of the Peoples Republic of China and already become accepted as the standard for international competitions.
