Announcing the American Mah Jongg Marathon 2025

We are excited to host the American Mah Jongg Marathon for another year, building on the success of our events since 2016. This competition spans one year, divided into five seasons, and adheres to American Mah Jongg rules.

Each year, we're honored to welcome over 1,100 players from 40 countries, making this event a global phenomenon. We're looking forward to extending our warm welcome to even more participants in 2025.

Marathon Season Bonus Prize Announcement

This season continues the exciting $150 bonus prize. To claim the prize, be the season's top winner and share your achievement on social media at least a week before the season ends. Every participant has a chance to win, so keep competing and make your mark!

Scoring

The season's winner is determined by an average score formula, with the marathon's ultimate victor being the player who accumulates the most Rank Points from their best four seasons.

Resolving Ties

In the event of a tie, the player with more games played during the marathon or a higher Mahjong Time rating will be ranked higher.

Game and Player Disqualification

Tables with absent players for 50+ moves will be disqualified, and players repeatedly absent may face temporary or permanent bans from future games and tournaments.

Tournament Organizers reserve the right to enforce disqualifications and bans to maintain the integrity of the competition.
